KNOWN ISSUES
===============================================================

*Bots --

You may want to crank the difficulty level up a notch or two.
This map has some crazy verical, and sometimes the bots like to
jump to their deaths a little too much.

*Layout --

I wanted to make a map with more vertical than you could shake
a rocketlauncher at. This takes a little getting used to, but
once you get a feel for where the net is and how to fly through
the levels it's an absolute blast!

*Strategy --

There are two redeemers on this level, one on the very to and one
on the very bottom. The bots aren't too smart about getting the
most out of a redeemer, but against human opponents it becomes a
virtual nuclear war, a race to see who's redeemer goes off first
to get the kills.

There are also a lot of tunnels that loop around, up and down
through the levels. I wanted a Fetid Sewers feel to them so that
the "bouncing" projectile weapons would be fun in here. The Flack
Cannon, Rocket Grenades, Ripper and Bio Rifle are the weapons of
choice for these areas.

PREMISE
===============================================================

Cleopatra 2525 is a late night Fox TV show. It sucks. It
blows more than Monica Lewinsky.

I know of the show because it's on just before Jack of All
Trades, with Bruce Campbell, which just rocks! So, sometimes
I'll be forced to sit through Cleopatra 2525. One of the
times I was forced to sit through it I caught an action
sequence that got me thinking. It goes like this:

The three busty chicks who are the stars of the show jump
down this deep shaft in their "underworld" setting. The
shaft appears to be bottomless (unlike the busty chicks),
but jumping down it and latching on with some kind of
webbing seems to be the preferred way to travel. After they
jump down, some bad guys jump down after them and start
shooting down at them. One of the busty chicks slings a web
down and makes a net. The three of them bounce off the net
and start flying up toward the bad guys while firing.

I immediately thought wow! Look at those boobs!

Later, I considered the deathmatch possibilities.

However, at the time I was heavy in to Quake2 editing, and I
knew that game engine wouldn't be able to pull off the look I
wanted, and I hate Quake3. So, I turned to the enemy, the
dark side, to UT! UT had the look I wanted and, as I got
more familiar with the editor and physics, it had the gameplay
I wanted for this level.

It's been probably 9 months in the making, but that's because
I was slow to get around to finally figuring out how to use
UnrealEd. I was still struggling with not being able to let
go of Quake2 editing as I was just starting to get very
comfortable with that platform. Thankfully, I've figured it
out now, and am now making levels for both games.

Enjoy! And send feedback to sven_youbetcha@hotmail.com.*
