Description : Mid-sized CTF map, situated in a water treatment facility on mars.
Player Load : 10-12 - Note: Has been tested run with 12 online but could probably handle more.

This is an updated version of System77, with changes specifically to the flag rooms which were unanimously criticized for being too ..well crappy. They were initally the first thing I had built in the original map so I kind of forgot about them once the map evolved into its final state. Incidentally this didn't start off as anything other than a vague picture in my head and the Mars water treatment facility aspect merely came near the end at which point I fleshed out the idea somewhat. I actually only thought of Mars once I put the skylights in and leaned towards a windy red-hued sky...hmm...Mars perhaps?...There's water in this map! Hey..why don't I call it...you get the picture.

Some ammunition has been added throughout the map (not alot but some) along the main lower routes. The invisibility has been replaced by a damage amp so now each side has two. I felt the map could handle two now that it has increased in size somewhat, what with the addition of routes from the flag room. (They're in the same hiding place as before ;))

These new hallways further the theme somewhat and give impact jumpers another route choice albeit more of a feign rather than a completely alternate route.

While the flag room improvement greatly improves the flag carrier's chances of survial, I still believe the map favours defenders somewhat, which is the way I wanted it; just not so brutally badly as was the first version.

I did a few texture changes as well (on some good advice:p) but didn't delve into a complete overhaul as I wanted to focus on the main issue of gameplay, specifically around the flag rooms. Any textureing/alignment issues and awkward brush intersections will be left for another time as they don't really affect play.

Textures: I included two other texture packs that I didn't with the System77. No textures were added but I just in case I put these in because I'm honestly not sure what is original to the game and what was custom ; my apologies.

Known Bugs : Much to my surprise, in an online match some folks were able to xloc into the skylights over the reservoir bridges and blast away from on high with no visible means of support! I fixed that but who knows it may still be possible...(the human mind works amazingly well...I didn't even think to go up there and voila...5 minutes online and someone is saying "hey lookit me up here woohoo!!)

The other bug that, frankly, I like, is an odd effect achieved when one walks, body against the inside wall of the hairpin turn (only on a couple of them, can't remember which ones) - you will basically do a super fast dogde without actually having to dogde. It flings you to the outside of the curve. As it doesn't really affect gameplay (but is kinda cool) I left it.

Thanks to StealthDP's for the opportunity, Freakish for a great review (lots of good criticism), the members at Prounreal who took the time to try System77 and give feedback, PEEPER at Forge's for giving the orig a run on the server and of course to Chimley for suggesting I post it in the first place.

God my wife is a patient woman. Me so lucky.:)
