Monster Vendor V1.0 Help
The HUD
The Monster Vendor HUD displays information that is beneficial to see without having to invoke the Monster Vendor Window.
The default Monster Vendor HUD displays:
A title (indicating what it is).
How much Monster Money you currently have.
How much Monster Money are currently in the Monster Pool.
And instructions documenting how to access the Monster Vendor Windows.
The Monster Money values displayed will temporarily change to Green when you their values go up and Red when their values go down.
The HUD can be toggled from the default HUD to a simple HUD.
The simple HUD is for advanced users who already recognize the items displayed on the HUD and know how to invoke the Monster Vendor Windows.
The Simple HUD only displays:
The Monster Money you currently have.
And how much Monster Money are currently in the Monster Pool.
Either the default HUD or the simple HUD can be moved to any location on the screen.
To toggle from the default HUD to the simple HUD (and vice versa).
Check the Simple HUD checkbox on the "Config" window (in the bottom left corner).
To the left of the Simple HUD checkbox on the "Config" window are 2 edit boxes to specify the HUD's X (right to left) and Y (up to down) location.
These values are specified in percentages of the total screen size. They are limited to 2 digits so there range is from 0 to 99.
Changes to these fields (while in the game) will effect the HUD in realtime, so you can watch the results and change the numbers accordingly.
To save these changes press "OK" button on the bottom of the Monster Vendor Window.
Sample HUD X and Y values and their effects:
A HUD X coordinate of 50 will put the HUD display in the center of the screen (right to left),
A HUD X coordinate of 0 will put it on the Left Edge of the screen.
And a HUD X coordinate of 99 will put it on the Right Edge of the screen.
A HUD Y coordinate of 50 will put the HUD display in the center of the screen (top to bottom),
A HUD Y coordinate of 0 will put it on the Top of the screen.
And a HUD Y coordinate of 99 will put it on the Bottom of the screen.
Edit boxes with percentages may be a little more complicated to deal with than slider controls would have been. However the edit boxes add a much greater degree of control.
