Monster Vendor V1.0 Help
Monsters Tab

The Monsters Tab is the User Interface for:

Buying Monsters to hunt specific players.
Buying Items.
Giving Monster Money to other players.
And Chatting while the Monster Vendor Window is open.

The procedure for purchasing a monster to hunt a player,
Or for purchasing an item is:

Select the monster (or item) from the Monster / Item List Box in the upper left of the window.
Select a target for the monster to attack from the Player List Box in the upper right corner of the window.
Then press the "Buy" button.

If the location directly in front of you is acceptable, the monster (or item) will spawn and begin to hunt.
Otherwise, you will get an error message indicating that the monster cannot be spawned there, and suggesting that you choose another location.

Monsters spawn approximately 400 UT units ahead of you, along the path you are currently looking.
If you are looking down when you attempt to spawn a monster, the Monster spawn will progably FAIL. 400 UT units ahead of you along your current line of sight is probably UNDERGROUND.

Monsters will not spawn UNDERGROUND, or in WALLS, or some place that you cannot see (i.e. you can't spawn a monster on the other side of a wall).

Be CAREFUL! Monsters are DUMB. (though some monsters are smarter than others)
If they are NOT close enough to thier intended target, they will decide to attack the player closest to them.
That will usually be you, since you just spawned them.

Items on the Monster tab window:

The Monster / Item List Box in the upper left corner.

Monsters / Items that you have enough Monster Money to buy will be displayed in Black. Monsters / Items that you can't afford will be displayed in Red.
Items that are displayed in the Monster / Item List Box do not JUST spawn an individual item. They spawn an Item Spawn point. So be careful where you create them, you probably don't want everyone getting them.

The Buy button under the Monster / Item List Box is used to purchase the currently selected item in the Monster / Item List Box.
